'What does the presence of God smell like?'
A question asked and answered, in concrete and wax.

One verse interpreted two ways; Psalm 91 vs 1
'He who dwells In The Shelter of the Most High...'
Interpreted to represent peace, a deep contentment. Like standing amongst creation.

Airy, serene and grounding.
In The Shelter evokes the calm of standing amidst creation. Top notes of ozonic freshness and bergamot open to a green, rain soaked rainforest with a hint of herbal notes of basil and the damp green edge of moss. The base, anchored by frankincense, sandalwood, cedar and a whisper of spice, leaving a lingering sense of peace and quiet contentment.
'He who dwells In The Shelter of the Most High...'

Fragrance Notes:

  • Top: Ozone, Bergamot, Lemon
  • Middle: Basil, Moss, Muguet
  • Base:  Frankincense, Cedarwood, Galbanum, Ginger, Sandalwood

'He who dwells in the Secret Place of the Most High...'evokes reverence, dwelling in the weight of Presence.

Deep, resinous, and reverent.
Secret Place embodies the weight of Presence. Frankincense opens up, followed closely by the resinous richness of myrrh, soft palo santo, cedarwood, amber and a hint of smoke.

Grounding and contemplative, like prayers offered in stillness - a fragrance for reflection

'He who dwells in the Secret Place of the Most High...'

Fragrance Notes:

    • Top: Frankincense,
    • Middle: Myrrh, Osmanthus, Palo Santo
    • Base: Amber, Smoke, Cedarwood, Patchouli

Holding the wax are the jars, (the Shekinah: from late Hebrew, mid 17th century, from šākan ‘dwell, rest), inspired by the clouds and the heavens above us.
